PokerStars Kicks Off 2007 Caribbean Adventure
|
 November 3 - Leading online poker room, PokerStars.com, has launched its 4th
annual Caribbean Adventure, an official World Poker Tour (WPT) event that will
result in one poker player winning over $1 million.
Players can win a 2007 Caribbean Adventure prize package by playing in one of PokerStars.com's qualifying satellites for as little as $2, or with buy-ins and
fees of $7 800 + $200 respectively, as well as free Tournament Leader Board
packages.
The venue for the
2007 PokerStars.com Caribbean Adventure, which takes place
from January 4th to 11th 2007, is the luxurious Atlantis Resort and Casino in
the Bahamas.
The winner of the 2006 Caribbean Adventure, Steve Paul-Ambrose, walked away with
$1.3 million after spending under $110 in satellite tournaments he entered via
PokerStars.com.
The coveted Caribbean Adventure prize package include the buy-in and fees, $3
000 towards accommodation and meals, and a generous $1000 which will be credited
to the player's
PokerStars.com account.
