PokerStars Sunday Million Attracts 6900 Players

PokerStars.com's Sunday Million online poker tournament attracted 6905 players
last night, all vying for a piece of the tournament's highly lucrative $1 381
000 prize pool and the kudos of winning this highly competitive event.
After long and hard play by all, the field was eventually whittled down to just
nine players who took their coveted positions at the final table. ANDAMAN 974
started off the chip leader with an impressive stack of $16.8 million.
Soon after many all-in battles, there remained only three, ANDAMAN 974,
Goodvibe1 and Dangdokodang. After an agreed upon 'chips chop', ANDAMAN 974 had $147,561, Dangdokodang $102,030, and goodvibe1 $82,231. $30 000 was put on the line for the eventual winner.
After going all in against ANDAMAN 974 holding AQ, Goodvibe1 found himself
finishing in third place after ANDAMAN 974's 99 proved good.
In the final heads up against Dangdokodang, ANDAMAN 974's overwhelming chip lead was soon diminished as Dangdokodang proved to be the stronger heads up player, eventually winning the final hand and total of $132 030 in prize money.
This was certainly one of the most exciting PokerStars Sunday Million
tournaments for a while and will certainly encourage plenty of new online poker
players to test their poker skills as they compete for the 'big bucks'.
