PokerWize Makes Way to Microgaming Platform
|
December 5 - Players familiar with the top of the range three dimensional poker brand, PokerWize, will be pleased to note the software has now shifted to the Microgaming platform.
Microgaming acquired the rights to PokerWize after its parent company, PlayWize was forced to put its proprietary software up for sale several months ago. PlayWize temporarily halted its trading on the London Alternative Investment Market earlier this year and ceased trading soon thereafter. Drastic attempts to raise money for their creditors included firing all its staff and putting most of its proprietary software and assets up for sale.
Microgaming poker, realizing the potential of the excellent three dimensional poker software, PokerWize, acquired the rights and will now offer it to its players on its growing network, considered to 11th place in popularity among all the poker networks in the industry.
