August 16 - With the first season of the Professional Poker Tour (PPT) currently showing on the Travel Channel, the second season has been delayed as it has not been picked up by the Travel Channel.
While World Poker Tour Enterprises, Inc is seeking out another suitable
broadcast outlet to pick up the show, the second season of PPT has been delayed.
It was scheduled to start filming during the Borgata Poker Open on September
11th this year.
However, it is now scheduled to begin filming on November 7th at the Foxwoods
Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut during the World Poker Tour World
Poker Finals.
After that event, the PPT's original schedule will continue as planned with the
next event taking place on November 29th at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, followed
on February 12th with the Commerce Casino event in Los Angeles.
The first season of the Professional Poker Tour began broadcasting on the Travel
Channel in July this year.
