Qualify For The WSOP Main Event For $1

June 15 - It's not to late to play in the 2007 World Series Of Poker Main Event, and it's definitely within your price range if you try to qualify at Bodog Poker. On Saturday June 16 and on Sunday June 16 at 3:00 PM EST they will hold their $1 WSOP Main Event Semifinals where the initial buy in is a buck.
Bodog is offering the tournament with no fees, so every $ spent by players goes in to the prize pool. It's a rebuy tournament with a cap of 5000 players max, so you can imagine how frenetic it's going to be - if you can't imagine then let me explain that the standard of play will be so low you'll feel like it's a play money tournament.
This is a fantastic and innovative promotion, but I've come to expect nothing less from these guys. I played in the 2006 WSOP Main Event (you can almost see me leaving the Rio on ESPN's wide-pan shot at the opening of Day 2) and Bodog was in a different class in terms of their player sponsorship.
The Bodog Player lounge was awesome, the "swag" that they give each of their qualifiers is ludicrous and included music players, designer sunglasses, and a place to eat, drink, and relax for free inside the Rio (so important) - my sponsor gave me a shirt, a cap, and a bag for the shirt and cap, and they had a stand outside the room where you could lean up on your elbows.
Each qualifier will give away at least one $12k WSOP Main Event package + all those other perks once you get to Vegas - did I mention the Bodog Girls in the Bodog Lounge? And there is 0 rake for the qualifiers so every dollar in comes out to the players.
