Sky Poker Gets in on UK Soccer Action

August 17 - With the start of soccer season, everybody who can is getting in on the action, and the players at Sky Poker are no exception.

This popular online poker room site has announced that it is bringing back its Sky Premiership promotion, giving poker players the chance to tap into their soccer side and win loads of cash in the process.

The soccer-themed promo involves lots of prizes and freeroll entries, offering players lots of initiative to enter.

To do so, all they need to do is enter the code 'Premiership' into the promotions section of the 'my account' link at Sky Poker.  This needs to take place before midnight on Sunday night.

The promotion will involve players assigned to one of eight teams at the site - the Blues, the Whites, the Reds, the Greens, the Oranges, the Yellows, the Reds, the Purples and, of course, Team Sky.

Players will have the opportunity to take part in three poker competitions each week against another team in an elimination type competition.

These poker tourneys will be held every Sunday, Tuesday and Friday. Sunday's games will be played at 5pm, while Tuesday and Friday will see them played out at 7 pm.

Big Prizes up for Grabs

A share of 100 Premiership points will be up for grabs in the poker tournaments running at SkyPoker.com.
