Team PKR Pro Launches
|
 April 25 - PKR.com, one of the world's best online poker rooms, with a customer base of over 2 million players, has revealed its much awaited Team PKR Pro.
The professional dream team is made up of six of the top players in the industry.
Perhaps the most recognized member of the team is TV celebrity Ashley Hames (ashleyhames1), whose acting part in the Sin Cities series makes him talented in many spheres. An avid poker player since 2000, Hames promises to bring lots of entertainment and a hint of glamour to the new team.
Kai Danilo Paulsen (kingkai84) is best known for his success on the live poker circuit, having earned well over $300,000 for his skills at the table. Born in Trondheim, Norway, Paulsen has two World Series of Poker cashes under his belt, as well as a fifth placed finish at the Irish Open last year.
Raymond O'Mahoney (callmebabe), Andrew Teng (golfpro699) and James Sudworth (James666) also make up the PKR Pro poker team.
The sixth player is Henrik Ekland (pokey85) who was runner up in the PKR Live event and, at the age of 24, has an exiting poker career ahead of him. The Swedish Ekland also won the Asian Poker Tour Manila Headhunter side tournament and is known for his fierce ambition on the felt.
The Marketing Director for PKR.com, Simon Prodger said after the launch of Team PKR Pro: "We've been following our initial PKR Pro members for some time and are convinced that they all the have game and personality required to be genuinely world class poker players."
