August 20 - The Naves brothers are certainly keeping their poker talents in
the family after they both secured a place for themselves at the Asian Poker
Tour by playing at two separate tournaments at Titan Poker, one of the
most popular sites on the iPoker network, powered by Playtech.
The brothers will meet at the final leg of the Asian Poker Tour in Macau on
August 26th, an event that is sure to draw some of the top poker names in the
industry as the vie for their share of the $1.5 million guaranteed prize pool.
As members of Titan Poker for over two years, Bruno Naves, 25 and his older
brother Antonio have plenty of experience in the online poker world. While
Antonio's style leans towards a more lengthy, measured type of tournament,
Julian prefers immediate sit and go type events where the action is faster
paced.
Last month, Antonio won his seat to the APT Macua leg while playing one of
Titan Poker's Super Satellites online. Keen to enjoy the action in the Far East
with his sibling, Bruno entered another tournament on the site and won his prize
package worth $9000 only one month later.
Speaking of this amazing feat, Antonio said: "Knowing that my brother would
be at the tournament was definitely an incentive for me. However, we never
really imagined that we would both qualify at the same time and for such a big
and important tournament!"
Bruno had this to say about the joint win: "I'm very excited about going to
this tournament, especially because my brother will be there. Our family and
friends can't believe that we're both going all the way to Macau to compete in
this amazing poker tournament."
This is not the first time that the brothers will be competing against each
other at a land-based poker tournament. There last joint competition was when
they played against each other at the Spanish Poker Cup in Madrid.
