 June 28 - Some of the top names in the online poker and gambling industry were recognized earlier this month at the inaugural EGR B2B Awards.
The event was held on the first night of the EGR Live conference and exhibition and honoured those business to business groups who have made an impact on the industry this year.
In the category for Poker Network of the Year, Playtech's iPoker Network earned top spot.
The group also won an award for Poker Software Supplier of the Year.
Microgaming's Poker Network was also mentioned as the group worth watching out for in the future.
A third award was offered to Playtech in the Bingo Supplier of the Year category through its Virtue Fusion Alderney brand.
"The EGR Awards are a prestigious new event in the industry's calendar, so we are delighted Playtech have been recognized here with three separate awards," said the Chief Executive Officer of Playtech, Mor Weizer.
"It really shows the strength of our products across the group," he added.
The iPoker Network is considered the world's largest online poker network and is home to some of the top brands in the industry.
These include Poker Plex, Poker Ocean, VC Poker, Boyle Poker, Winner Poker, Paddy Power Poker, William Hill, Celeb Poker, Bet 365 and Kiwi Poker.
Games offered on this network include Texas Hold 'em, Omaha, Omaha Hi Lo and 7 Card Stud.
Players will find plenty of promotions on the network, including super satellites to live poker events such as the Asian Poker Tour 2010, as well as the EC Poker Tour in Vienna.
