William Hill Poker Shifts to iPoker Network
|
April 13 - Players at William Hill Poker will be pleased to note that the site has made its official shift to Playtech's iPoker network.
The move came after William Hill signed a partnership deal with Playtech in recent months.
The new platform means that players at this popular online poker site will be able to enjoy a wider variety of games, access to a larger number of land based poker tournaments and more action overall.
A spokesperson for William Hill, Lili Huang, said about the move: "Our players can enjoy even more exciting games and a wider range of tournaments as we are now in the world's biggest networked poker room. iPoker's network management and powerful collusion prevention system ensures a fair and secure gaming environment, which is a foundation of all changes on our new William Hill Poker site."
The new site has been given a physical makeover as well, with a sleek, sophisticated look that allows players to choose between two different 'views' - 3D or 2D top down mini view.
One of the best changes facing William Hill players is the door that has been opened to many top tournaments around the globe. For the first time ever, William Hill is able to offer its players the chance to qualify for a seat to the World Series of Poker event. A super satellite package, worth a staggering $13,000 is up up for grabs and players have a genuine chance of rubbing shoulders with the best players in the world in Las Vegas this year.
For those who prefer to keep their poker playing online, William Hill poker is also able to provide players with the chance to qualify for the European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP) from the end of next month to June 7th.
