World Poker Tour Adds New Event At Borgata To The Schedule
The World Poker Tour is now up to 17 events in its fourth season with the recent announcement that the Borgata Winter Poker Open will be an officially sanctioned WPT event next January. In fact, the tournament will start on January 20th and end on February 1st with the typical $10,000 no-limit hold'em main event.
The Borgata casino is in Atlantic City, and was already the site for a World Poker Tour event earlier this year. The World Poker Tour, the brainchild of Steve Lipscomb altered tournament poker forever, thrusting poker into the limelight through innovative television coverage that has made poker more popular now than ever before, throughout the world.
