Yatahay Poker Network Gets Doyles Room

 February 1 - Doyles Room players can now enjoy the small-scale pleasures of the Yatahay Poker Network, after they fled from the Cake Network. Cake must have really disappointed these operators because Yatahay doesn't exactly offer thousands of players or cutting-edge software.
The Yatahay software is in 3D and the network does accept US players. In addition it is licensed out of Kahnawake, so players should get a fair shake in terms of honesty and security, as this is a jurisdiction that does regulate - just ask Russ Hamilton! The Kahnawake Gaming Commission put the sword to Ultimate Bet a couple of years ago for their super-user player fraud and forced that online poker room to refund $22,100,000 to players who had money stolen from them by Hamilton and his pals.
But back to Doyles Room, who is the latest high-profile defector from Cake. First Lee Jones, who used to manage Poker Stars and more recently was managing the Cake Network, left them and then the Tournament Director, Serge Ravitch, also followed suit. Maybe that's the reason why Doyles Room is leaving, but what a strange network to go to.
True Poker and Sky Book Poker are other operators on the Yatahay Network, not exactly tier one sites. The network has very limited traffic, doesn't offer all the popular poker games, and the 3D stuff is a little out of date. That being said Doyles Room players will now have improved customer service and live chat support, and they intend to customize the software to their own specifications. Hopefully this relaunch will be a win-win scenario for both the operator and the software provider alike.
