The Online Poker Experiment is an innovative and exciting concept - where an absolute beginner, someone who has never played competitive poker before on any level, will be coached and turned into a winning poker player before your eyes. The instruction will happen in real-time. You will be able to monitor his progress, chart his results, interact with both student and teacher, read all the course material that our pupil reads, and even play poker against him!
The student will start with a set bankroll, and every one of his poker sessions playing with that bankroll will be documented. As his bankroll grows and his results improve he will be exposed to more advanced concepts. He will start to play in tougher games and for bigger stakes. His performance will be monitored and rated by a professional poker player who will serve as coach, guide, and mentor.
We invite everyone to take up the challenge of The Online Poker Experiment. Start with the same bankroll as our novice student and document your own results on this website. Learn as he learns, and enter into dialogues with both pupil and teacher. Play against our student in live online poker tournaments for real money! You might even get free expert advice and comments on how you play poker.
