The path of true winning poker never ran smooth. Jennifer Harman built up her bankroll to six figures when she started out in Vegas only to lose every cent in a single terrible year. She had to borrow a stake and start out again at the bottom playing low-stakes limit games. And for the past month our student has seen his bankroll drop below the $1,000 mark with a series of atypical poor results....

Ryan continues to impress, racking up a $50 Sit&Go victory last night. His bankroll has now soared over $1,300.00 (as of April 7, 2006). That should technically mean a promotion to Level 5, but my inclination is to keep him at Level 4 for a while longer. Here`s why...

It has happened at a speed that we didn`t think was possible, but Ryan has torn up various online poker tables (and live games as well) and is ready to go up to Level 4. His current bankroll is well in excess of $900, and he only needed $750 to start tackling intermediate Sit&Go`s ($30-$50 level)...

After an exceptional run over the past two weeks, Ryan has built his bankroll up over $500 thanks to an impressive run of results in Sit `N Gos. The result: We`re promoting him to Level 3! He will now play in $20 and $30 tournaments going forward...

Due to our break over the holiday season it is impossible to promote Ryan to level 3 just yet, mainly because the bankroll is not big enough for the jump. But he is getting better all the time, and will DESTROY the opposition at any tournament stakes level below $20!
